Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Linmelne does and does not collect. The site is a static, informational website with no server-side database or user accounts.

Local browser storage

The site uses the browser’s local storage to remember a single preference: whether the cookie notice on the home page has been shown and dismissed. This value stays on your device, is not transmitted to any server, and is not used to track you across other websites.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates a submission locally and clears the fields. No name, email, phone number, or message is transmitted, received, or stored on any server. If you wish to reach the site, email remains the reliable channel.

External links

Notes link to external organisations such as government agencies and naturalist groups. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that external site apply, and this policy no longer governs your visit.

Children

The site is written for families and contains no behavioural advertising, profiling, or data collection directed at children or any other reader.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update date above will change with it. Questions can be sent to contact@linmelne.org.
